Tax Planning

Paying more tax than necessary is one of the most common, and most avoidable ways wealth is eroded over time. With the right planning, you can legally and efficiently protect more of what you’ve earned, invested, and built.

The Challenge

Tax rules change frequently, and allowances and reliefs are easy to miss without specialist knowledge. Many people only think about tax once a year, at the point it’s too late to plan around it, rather than as an ongoing part of their financial strategy.

Our Approach

We take a proactive, year-round approach to tax planning, looking at your full financial picture, income, investments, pensions, and estate, to identify opportunities for tax efficiency well before deadlines arrive, not after.

What’s Covered

This includes advice on tax-efficient investment wrappers, pension contributions and allowances, inheritance tax mitigation, trusts, and structuring income and assets in a way that keeps more of your wealth working for you and your family.

Our Credentials

As a Chartered, CISI-accredited financial planning firm in Winchester, our advisers combine specialist tax knowledge with a genuinely joined-up view of your finances, so tax planning supports your wider goals, rather than being treated in isolation.

Get in Touch

Don’t wait until the end of the tax year to think about tax efficiency. Book a free, no-obligation consultation and find out what you could be doing differently.

“Martin became our financial adviser as my husband Tony prepared to retire from his directorship at Marsh. Since we lost Tony in 2014, Martin’s advice and support has been exceptional. I have no hesitation in recommending him and his team at Collingbourne”

“I first met Martin when seeking advice on how best to manage our finances from the latter stages of self-employment to a retirement of plausible “comfort and security”. My wife and I will be forever grateful for the unstinting help and wise counsel Martin has provided for the past twenty years. On all things financial, he remains our first port of call.”

“After selling our business we reinvested the proceeds of our lifetime’s work with Collingbourne, who also took to looking after our pension funds. Their expert personal attention has successfully guided us and our family for well over two decades and Martin has always been available when needed. We cannot speak too highly of him and his personnel.”
